I asked you to ask me anything on my social media and I would answer the questions here today and – you did! First and foremost, thank you so so much for taking time to submit the questions. I have answered to the best of my ability and I hope this is helpful. For the questions I didn’t highlight here,I did not ignore I will do those in a second edition especially those related to blogging tips.
- How old are you? – Rosey
I love this question! Straight to the point Rosey. I am a twenty something year old lady. Just Kidding… I’m not going to answer like that! Today I’m keeping it real (as usual) and answering all questions directly. I’m twenty-five.
- What is your day job and how do you keep the balance – Ida Wambui
A lot of you don’t know this but I work as a Brand Manager and a content creator. Finding the balance between my job and the blog is a daily challenge for me and that bottles down to how well I manage my time. I do not look at my blog as a job but more of a creative outlet so I thoroughly enjoy writing and having discussions here on the blog. I write at any time at any place any day.
- What is your experience doing business on social network platform and its growth in Kenya? -Katununu
Thank you so much for this question. My experience doing business on social network platform has been hard actually but a learning process too. Quite frankly I have made a lot mistakes along the way and that is how I have learnt what works and what doesn’t. Growth on Social media also takes a lot of time and dedication so just like any other business you have to extremely patient. Have I answered your question? I hope I have. 🙂
- Is my boyfriend a photographer? – Harry
This cracked me up! Mwaniki Weddings is not my boyfriend, he is mainly a wedding photographer. You can check his profile HERE. I know I have amazing photos…LOL! so it’s easy to assume that I spend a lot of time with him. He is just good at what he does.
- How to mobilize and sell yourself out there on social media – Zakiew
I’m not sure I know what you mean but I would say I sell content not myself necessarily. How I do that… I get good photos, and create content – a story worth selling the product(s) in the photos.
- When I’m I visiting Mister Wok again? –Eve Annette
Thank you Mister Wok for this beautiful comment. I should visit The Hub, Two Rivers and Nanyuki Branch. I was however at the Parklands branch on Saturday for dinner. I ordered a few usuals…My favorite banana toffee 🙂 Great service too.
- What is my view on the generation of men in Kenya (Millennials) from a relationship, family to future leaders view-point? – Max
I don’t know if I have a well thought of opinion.Tough question !! *Hold hands over my head*
- Blogging advice for those who want to start blogging – what niche to settle on – Andas
I’m always flattered (and still a little surprised) when I’m asked for blogging advice, because I still see myself as a small fish in a big pond —My advice probably would be: blog about something that is dear to your heart and something you really enjoy too. Writers block is quite common to bloggers and if you do not enjoy what you talk about you will be in a bit of trouble. Since this is a popular question I will create an entire post on it soon so stay tuned 🙂
