Being True to Myself

by Grace Njeri

Hello there!

How is your week so far?

I have always admired off shoulder pieces but I never owned any. In a world full of fast paced fashion trends, it is so easy to buy something just to keep up with the trend and later realize that you bought something that isn’t you. Now, I have had a couple of bad buys myself and in many ways that has helped shape the direction of my blog and personal style.

I take much more caution and time now before I buy something for an instant injection of cool and then hang it in my wardrobe for the rest of my life till I have to give it away painfully because I never wore it and I feel ripped off. I slip up occasionally but I’m making a conscious effort every time to take what makes me feel comfortable and confident. When I saw this romper I knew it was a winner because I love airy clothes and this was my chance to try the off shoulder.

With that said, pick what makes you feel comfortable and something that is Your style.
